What is your minimum order quantity?
One full piece, typically around 50 meters. We sell by the piece, by the full lot and by block lots of several thousand meters - no cut lengths. For garment manufacturers and wholesalers buying entire lots, clearance prices are available on request.
How much do your fabrics cost per meter?
Stock prices start from EUR 1/m for the most competitive articles and go up to EUR 40-50/m for the finest cashmere. Every lot is priced individually based on composition, quantity and condition. Full-lot and by-the-kilo deals are priced case by case - the larger the take, the lower the price per meter.
Do you supply garment manufacturers and clothing production?
Yes - manufacturers are our core customers alongside wholesalers and e-commerce fabric retailers. We supply full pieces and block lots suitable for production runs, with composition, width and weight stated for every article. If you need consistent meterage of one article for a production order, ask for the available lot size before planning.
What does "deadstock" or "stock fabric" mean exactly?
These are surplus fabrics from Italian mills and the Prato textile district: overruns, cancelled orders and end-of-season stock - first-quality goods, not seconds. Every lot is unique and cannot be reordered once sold. That is why prices are far below regular mill prices.
Can I get samples before ordering?
Yes, samples are free. We only charge the courier cost, which is then deducted from your invoice when you place an order. Samples ship worldwide via UPS with full specs on each labelled cutting. Fastest way to request samples: WhatsApp +39 335 335 746 - send us the article name and your address.
How do payments work?
Bank transfer in advance is our standard - no fees for either side, and goods ship immediately after payment is received. Pro forma invoice first. If bank transfer is not an option for you, we also accept card payments (Nexi) as an alternative. Pro forma invoices are issued by Textilagentur Leonardo S.R.L., VAT IT 04616890481, Prato, Italy.
How do you ship, and who pays duties outside the EU?
We ship worldwide via UPS from Prato, Italy, with other couriers available on request. Within the EU there are no customs formalities. Outside the EU (USA, UK, etc.) shipments travel DAP: import duties and local taxes are payable by the receiver.
Can you tell me exactly how many meters are in each piece?
Piece lengths are approximate - a "100 m" order may arrive as 95 or 110 m, which is standard practice in the stock fabric trade. Every piece is checked before shipping and we state actual meterage on the packing list. You are invoiced only for the meters actually shipped.
